INFOKU, BLORA –Several stakeholders have initiated the proposal for Cepu Raya. The development budget was also proposed by the central government to become an economic and cultural center between regions.
For this reason, it is necessary to involve historians and humanists as the initial concept.
Blora Regent Arief Rohman explained that the Cepu Raya discourse was being discussed with stakeholders such as universities, students and regional cultural figures.
Currently, inputs are open for the Cepu Raya design to be initiated with the Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Pratikno.

"We hope that university students will provide an overview. We will make input more comprehensive in discussing this matter," he said after attending the inauguration of BEM IAI Al-Muhammad Cepu yesterday (20/1).
The Regent explained, the district government would prepare a study master plan. According to him, Cepu Raya had been formed before, such as the existence of a royal government in Cepu. Later, Blora will be the center of government, Cepu will be the center of the economy and culture.

"All of this has been formed, it remains only to fill in a concrete form, this will be the agenda for the future," he explained.
Regarding the budget, the Regent admitted that he proposed to the central government, including the construction of the Cepu Cultural Park. Currently the district government is preparing land around the Cepu by pass.
"Our budget from the central ministry includes the construction of the Cepu Raya Cultural Park, including the Cepu Raya culture (proposed) like Lasem as a Heritage City in Cepu as well," he said. ( Endah/ IST )
