INFOKU, BLORA – One room at SMPN 2 Jepon collapsed after a long time the roof was curved.
Previously, the room had been vacated, so there were no victims in yesterday's incident (6/10).
From the observations of journalists at the location, the roof of the room collapsed. Wood and shards of tiles were scattered on the floor. The wood visible from the outside glass window was rotten.
The head of SMPN 2 Jepon said that the room had been vacated for a long time.
“Only the roof collapsed. The space has been empty for a long time,” he said.

Meanwhile, in a different place, the Head of the Blora Regency Education Office through the Head of Middle School Development Fiqri Hidayat said that the roof collapse of one of the rooms at SMPN 2 Jepon occurred at around 11.00 yesterday (6/10).
He got the information after contacting the principal of the junior high school. "Tomorrow (today, Red) a new report will be made," he explained.
He explained that his party had learned of the damage to one of the rooms located next to the prayer room of the junior high school, while monitoring the implementation of the computer-based national assessment (ANBK) for junior high schools recently.

At that time the condition of the roof was already curved. “That room used to be a computer lab. However, because the conditions were no longer proper, the school finally vacated the space,” he explained.
The Head of Facilities and Infrastructure of the Education Office, Sandy Tresna Hadi, added that his party plans to rehabilitate the room next year. (Endah/ IST )
