INFOKU, BLORA - A man named Hendro Irawan alias Encon, had the heart to torture his 8-year-old stepson with the initials GVR to death.
The incident occurred on 10 September 2022 at his house, which is in Tempelan Village, Blora District, Blora Regency.
Kasatreskrim Blora Police, Adjunct Commissioner of Police (AKP) Supriyono said that his party arrested the perpetrators on Friday, October 21, 2022.
"The arrest was made at the perpetrator's house," said Supriyono when revealing the case at the Blora Police Headquarters, Monday (24/10/2022).
When the police conducted an interrogation, the perpetrator initially refused to admit his actions.
However, after being taken to the police station, the perpetrator finally admitted that he had abused his stepson to death. The perpetrator has also been named a suspect in cases of alleged child abuse and domestic violence.
He said the motive of the perpetrator to abuse his stepdaughter was because he was provoked by emotion.

"The perpetrator's motive for violence against his stepdaughter was that the suspect was emotional towards the victim. Because the victim was given an allowance of Rp. 10,000 by his uncle. But when asked by the perpetrator, the money had already been given to his friend. So the perpetrator got angry and then did violence against her stepson," he explained.
The victim, who is still in elementary school (SD) is being abused almost all over his body.
Starting from the face, cheeks, chest, to the back. "Then what was even more fatal was that the perpetrator committed violence by grabbing the victim's hair and then throwing it and hitting a wall made of wood. Then the victim fell to the floor and hit the floor so she didn't move anymore," he explained.
"Then by the perpetrator, the victim was lifted into the room. Then the victim vomited on the victim's clothes. Then he was only taken to Permata Hospital, because he was unable to (overcome) then taken again to Soetijono Hospital. Then initial medical action was carried out and the doctor was declared dead the world," he added.

To account for his actions, the perpetrators are subject to multiple articles. Among them are Article 76C in conjunction with Article 80 paragraphs 3 and 4, Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2016 with a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
Then the suspect is also charged with Article 5a in conjunction with Article 44 paragraph 3 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence, which carries a maximum penalty of 15 years. "As well as Article 351 of the Criminal Code for persecution, which carries a maximum penalty of 7 years in prison," he concluded. (Endah/ IST )
