INFOKU, BLORA – A total of 41 members of the Blora police were suddenly tested for urine yesterday morning (17/10). The urine test is strictly controlled until the urine is taken.
This sudden test anticipates drug abuse. The results of the urine test did not find members who were positive.
Apart from Mapolres, urine tests will be conducted at random, including at Mapolsek ranks. Police officers were warned not to be backers for drug trafficking.
On the other hand, if members get involved, there will be strict sanctions. ''There is no tolerance for members of the Blora Police if they are involved in drug crimes. We will take action," said Blora Police Chief AKBP Fahrurozi through the Head of Propam AKP Sunarto yesterday.
He said, as many as 41 members have taken urine samples suddenly. It claims that it is indiscriminate in law enforcement for the police proven to use drugs.
Sunarto warned police officers not to consume and back up drugs.
"We have carried out urine drug tests regularly for members of the Resort Police or the ranks of the Police in turn," he explained.
The urine test was carried out after the morning rally by joint officers from the Police and Health Medical Section (Sidokkes), the drug detective unit (Satres Narkoba) and the Professional and Security Section (Propam) in the field behind the Mapolres.
The former Ngawen Police Chief explained that this drug inspection was to improve discipline, as well as anticipate drug abuse. His party wants to convince the public that wherever there will be action against members suspected of abusing drugs.
"If there was a positive urine test earlier, at that time an examination will also be carried out by the Propam Headquarters," he concluded.
The urine test process was supervised by Propam from attendance to urine collection in the bathroom not far from the location.
Drugs are still one of the crimes that the Blora Police continue to fight and the examination of the urine of these members is a form of commitment to enforce internal discipline. (Endah/ IST )
