Why, Blora Residents Arrested in Bojonegoro...eee .. It turns out that they are desperate to fake BPKB and STNK

 


INFOKU, BOJONEGORO -The Bojonegoro Police Satreskrim have arrested the perpetrator of the forgery of motor vehicle documents with the initials AW (32), a resident of Gabusan Village, Jati District, Blora Regency, Central Java.

AW falsified the BPKB and STNK of his Daihatsu Xenia car which he bought without complete documents.

Through the fake vehicle certificate, the car became easy to sell and the price was high.

The Bojonegoro Police Chief, AKBP Muhammad, said that the perpetrators made their own BPKB and car registration documents similar to the original.

Then, armed with the fake letter, the perpetrator sold his car to someone else.

The modus operandi is, the perpetrator buys a car without complete legal documents at a low price, then makes a fake BPKB and STNK that looks like the original.

The car with the white police number N 1975 SM was sold to the victim with the initials AQ (31), a resident of Tanjungharjo Village, Kapas District, Bojonegoro, for Rp. 82 million.

"When the victim took the initiative to check the validity of the car documents with the Bojonegoro Samsat, it turned out that there were irregularities regarding the document," said AKBP Muhammad at a press conference, Thursday (24/2/2022).

The results of checking the BPKB register number 0-03700245 for a Daihatsu Xenia vehicle with nopol N 1975 SM registered in the name of Firhatun Naimah, having his address at Kopian Indah Housing, Jalan Argopuro RT 07 RW 09 Ketapang, Kademangan District, Probolinggo City.

The victim immediately reported to the Bojonegoro Police Headquarters after learning that the documents for the car he bought from the perpetrator were declared fake by Samsat.

Subsequently, the police managed to arrest the perpetrators and confiscate evidence in the form of a white Daihatshu Xenia car as well as a fake BPKB and STNK letter for the car.

"The perpetrator was made a suspect under Article 263 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code with a threat of 6 years in prison and/or Article 266 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code with a threat of 7 years in prison," he said. (HeruIST )
