INFOKU, BLORA - Blora Regent H. Arief Rohman Launched the 2022 Non-Cash Food Aid (BPNT) distribution, at the Kunden Village Office, Blora District, Sunday (20/2/2022).
But what is interesting this time is that BPNT is distributed in the form of cash.
This is in accordance with the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo and the Ministry of Social Affairs that the distribution of BPNT is currently being channeled in cash through PT Pos Indonesia for acceleration.
"Today we are launching, regarding the transfer of BPNT which used to be non-cash, now we get instructions from the President and the Ministry of Social Affairs to accelerate so that all cash is transferred through the POS Office," explained Arief Rohman.
It was also conveyed that the recipients should be able to take advantage of the assistance to meet the food needs of their families.
"This Panjenengan is given the money directly, cash, it is hoped that the spending is in accordance with household needs and still in order to support the family's food security, such as to buy rice, eggs and so on," he added.

In addition, Regent Arief also reminded village heads and lurahs to continue to increase vaccination coverage in their areas.
He also asked his staff to actively record citizens who have not been vaccinated, so that they can be vaccinated soon.
"I also want to add to the recommendation from the Head of the Resort Police for vaccinations that have not received doses 2 and 3, as well as those who have not been vaccinated to be vaccinated immediately," he explained.
In front of the beneficiaries in Kunden Village, the Regent invited the community, especially the elderly in Blora Regency to be vaccinated immediately.
Even to encourage the interest of the community and the elderly to be vaccinated, later cooking oil will also be given.
"If there is one from the Resort Police, from us, there is cooking oil. Those who want the vaccine will be given one liter of cooking oil for the elderly, maybe we will give it," he said.
"In the framework of our support as well, so for assistance, our body's resistance can be with vaccines, it can be healthy, because there is a new variant of Omicron, we are still anticipating it," he added.
On that occasion, the Regent also symbolically handed over one liter of cooking oil to a resident of Kunden Village who at that time had received the second dose of vaccination, at the Kunden Village Office.
Meanwhile, the Head of the P3A Social Service, Blora Indah Purwaningsih, explained that the distribution for the January-March period was divided into the first and second batches.
"For BPNT we previously had around 78 thousand kpm recipients but for now after the transfer and we have consulted with the Secretary General of Social Security and Secretary General of PFM that this activity is indeed gradual and the first we get a quota of 39,456," he said.
He continued, then it was planned that there would be 72 thousand in total, and it turned out that in the first batch there were 39,456, then there would be a second batch.

"Monthly there is 200 thousand aid, so this time 600 thousand is disbursed for the period from January to March 2022," he added.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Blora Regency POS Office, Windha Saktiana, revealed that the distribution of BPNT through the Post office had started on February 20, 2022, especially for the first batch.
"Our PT Pos Indonesia is mandated by the government to distribute the 2022 BPNT program for Blora Regency, it is planned for an initial batch of 39,456 starting today, Sunday 20 February 2022 to 5 March 2022," said Windha.
"The payment will be made in all sub-districts, at a number of points," he added.
For information, the handover of BPNT in cash is carried out for three months (January-March), so that the recipients will later receive 600 thousand rupiah in cash.
