Land Acquisition for Karangnongko Weir is Targeted to be Completed this Year

 


INFOKU, BLORA -The land acquisition for the construction of the Karangnongko Weir in Kradenan District is targeted to be clear this year.

That way, the Bengawan Solo River Basin Center (BBWS) national project, Ministry of PUPR can start in 2023.

Blora Regent Arief Rohman admitted that the Minister of State Secretary had written a letter to complete the land.

The plan for community land affected by the development will ask for replacement land in the UGM KHDTK area of ​​around 300 hectares.

"The concept will be moved later. Village bedol. The housing was moved with all the supports according to what was there," he explained.

According to him, if the land is clear this year, next year construction can be carried out.

There are five villages in Kradenan District that will be affected by the inundation of the Karangnongko Movement Dam construction.

Starting from the villages of Ngrawoh, Nginggil, Nglebak, Megeri and Mendenrejo. Hundreds of residents in these locations will be affected by the relocation of this national project.

"We invite the community to discuss and relocate. It will be a new area. both housing built by the Director General of Housing and UGM. Concept housing concept. Complete like the existing conditions of society as it is now. Starting from what kind of social activities, health support, places of worship, the economy, including clean water, road access and others," he said.

This project has been designated as a national strategic project. It is stated in Presidential Decree number 79 of 2019. The work will be carried out by the Ministry of PUPR through the Bengawan Solo River Basin Center (BBWS).

According to the plan, the national Karangnongko Weir project will dam the Solo River. Separating Mendenrejo Village, Kradenan District, Blora from Ngelo Village, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro.

There are nine floodgates to be built. It drains an area of ​​1,747 ha for Blora and 5,203 ha for Bojonegoro Regency. (Endah/ IST )
